FIONA Releases Debut Single 'Enough's Enough

Rising UK singer-songwriter FIONA is set to captivate listeners with her debut single, ‘Enough's Enough’ — a soul-stirring blend of pop, R&B, and jazz influences that showcases her powerhouse vocals and raw emotional storytelling. At just 18, FIONA's voice carries a weight of maturity and depth that resonates far beyond her years, delivering a track that explores the painful tipping point before a breakup.

With classical training and a love for contemporary pop, FIONA draws inspiration from iconic artists like Adele, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Dean, and Stevie Nicks. Her ability to seamlessly fuse classical techniques with modern soul sensibilities creates a unique sound that is both timeless and fresh. "This song is about the stage before a breakup when you’re questioning whether you still have love for that person, or if you’re just holding on out of familiarity. But their actions make loving them even harder, almost pushing you towards hate, even when you don’t want to feel that way." — FIONA

The track was co-written with jazz pianist Jack Noke, with FIONA bringing the poignant lyric, "Don't make me hate you, cause loving you is painful enough," to the session. The writing process was organic, with Jack crafting the haunting piano arrangement while FIONA poured her emotions into the lyrics and vocal melodies, creating a narrative where the track is written as a conversation between two people but told from FIONA’s perspective. In collaboration with her producer, Philip Van Den Brandeler, FIONA has crafted a track that swells with vulnerability and crescendos with soulful intensity, echoing the inner turmoil of a love that’s slowly unravelling. 

Currently working on her debut EP set for release later this year, FIONA promises to deliver a collection of songs that span sweeping ballads to infectious pop melodies, all anchored by her unmistakable voice and heartfelt lyrics.
