Northampton-based rockers Fountain have released their powerful new single, ‘Itch’ , setting the stage for their highly anticipated debut EP, Talking To Ghosts due November 15th. Along with the single release, Fountain has unveiled dates for their first headline UK tour, promising to bring their unmistakable energy to stages across the country.
Produced by Lee Russell, ‘Itch’ captures the raw, driving sound that’s become Fountain’s signature, with razor-sharp guitars, pounding drums, and a lead vocal that tempers their hard-hitting style with a surprisingly melodic edge. The track balances gritty garage rock with just enough polish, adding an indie charm that keeps it grounded and accessible.
Written during frontman Jordan Noon’s teenage years and brought to life as a tribute to the intensity of young love, ‘Itch’ channels the reckless freedom and unfiltered emotions of adolescence. Noon reflects, “Itch’ was partially written at a time when responsibility was a foreign concept. It’s a reflection on love in its purest, rawest form.”
The upcoming EP, Talking To Ghosts, promises to capture Fountain’s evolving sound, blending heavy riffs and dynamic, melodic vocals to create a sound that’s both intense and full of heart.
