Of Vizions are back with their electrifying new single ‘Enchanted’, a dark love anthem that captures the band’s signature blend of high-energy punk rock and emotive storytelling. Inspired by their classic rock roots and the moody lyricism of bands like The Cure, ‘Enchanted’ was originally conceived as a melodic ballad before evolving into a vibrant, fast-paced track that dives into the thrilling highs and lows of deep connection. The song’s driving guitar riffs and powerful vocals deliver a raw, unfiltered energy that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new, making it a standout release in the band’s growing discography.
As they continue to push boundaries with their dynamic sound, we sat down with Of Vizions to talk about the albums that have shaped their journey. From classic rock icons to modern punk legends, these are the records that fuel the band’s creative fire. Here are Of Vizions' top five albums that continue to inspire their musical evolution...
1. The Rolling Stones - Exile on Mainstreet
I love the raw sound and vibe The Stones created on this album. Recorded in the basement of Kieth Richard's Chatue in France at the time, The Stones wrote and recorded some of their best music of their career on this album that inspired me to a high level.
2. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
One of the greatest albums of all time in my opinion. By the time Led Zeppelin recorded their 4 studio album, they truly had found their sound that was completely original, unique, thought provoking, poetic and explosive all in one. The songs on this album just sweep and melt into our ears, then soar into your mind, heart, body and soul. Not to mention this album gave us one of the greatest songs ever written of all time, Stairway To Heaven.
3. Queen - Greatest Hits
Queen, one of the greatest bands in the world with some of the greatest musicians who ever lived. And we all know Freddy Mercury is one of the greatest rock singers and frontman of all time. I grabbed ahold of greatest hits album when I was a kid and listened to it on repeat for a whole summer. Later in life realizing the true genius and magic of Queens' music. Every single song is different and unique but still sounds like Queen. That aspect as an artist alone is truly inspiring. Not to mention, Freddy Mercury can sing anything, and simply make you feel alive. He sings with passion and from his soul. Queen's music is the epitome of greatness.
4. The Clash - London Calling
I just love this legendary album "London Calling" by The Clash. It's raw and real and street level beautiful! Recorded by legendary producer Guy Steven's at Wessex Sound Studios in London in 1979.They just captured something beautiful with this album and showed how songs can be catchy, harmonious and meaningful, but at the same time can hold the essence of raw, real, day to day life on the street (as a person who might not agree with society or quite fit in)London Calling is literally a perfect album!
5. Nirvana - Nevermind
A triumphant album that was just the perfect storm of songs recorded at the time by Nirvama. This album created a whole new genre, 'Grunge', which became a way of life. As a kid from the nineties, Nevermind was every young persons life soundtrack. I related to it on a deep level. The rawness and passion of every musican in the band released its best work on this album.
