Brighton’s rising indie-soul outfit Nature TV have released their latest single, ‘Meds,’ on March 25th, offering a tantalising preview of their upcoming debut album ‘Unlucky for Some,’ set for release on May 9th via renowned indie label Heist or Hit.

A shimmering fusion of neo-soul and indie influences, ‘Meds’ is built around elegant, chorus-soaked guitars, a tight, choppy rhythm, and plucky lead lines. Its intricate minor 7 chords lend a distinctive swaying soul feel, balanced against the band’s signature indie aesthetic. The track’s buoyant instrumentation is undercut by a melancholic depth, delivered through intimate lyricism and emotive vocals.

Speaking on the track, the band reflects: “I suppose it’s about drugs. The healing kind and the social ones, mainly the social ones. Because obviously you should take medicine that helps you, but then lots of people self-medicate with other things. So, is it better to live life with the help of an aid? Or to live in the real world with no help at all? It’s hard to say, but vices can be luxurious and destructive.”

Nature TV have been steadily carving out their place in the UK indie scene, earning support from BBC Radio 1, Radio X, and major streaming platforms like Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Music, where their tracks have landed on editorial playlists.

On social media, the band has enjoyed multiple viral moments on TikTok, further cementing their status as a buzz-worthy act. Nature TV have also developed a strong reputation as a must-see live act, touring extensively across the UK, US, and Europe, and selling out shows in multiple cities. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Trudy & The Romance and Chappaqua Wrestling and graced the line-ups of prestigious festivals including The Great Escape, Wild Paths, Toronto’s NXNE, and SXSW.

With ‘Meds’ setting the tone for what’s to come, Nature TV’s debut album ‘Unlucky for Some’ promises to be one of the most exciting indie releases of the year.
